State police revive man with Narcan after car went off road, overturned and burst into flames
State police say a man had to be revived with Narcan after his car went off I-195, overturned and burst into flames in Howell.
The accident happened Sunday around 5:20 p.m. near milepost 28.
According to state police, the sedan driven by Michael Carr, 29, of Lakehurst, flipped and burst into flames after veering off the roadway.
State police say Carr was treated for minor injuries.
He has been charged with resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated.
Officials say Carr was also wanted on active warrants at the time of his arrest.
New Jersey court records show he was charged back in 2017 in Robbinsville with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.
He is being held at the Monmouth County Jail.
