Real estate expert shares knowledge with her community
Trisha Ocana holds many titles and has a lot of success in her ventures -- now she is sharing her knowledge with her community.
Ocana is a community board housing chair, real estate professor and CEO of her own company. Instead of reaping all of the rewards from her expertise, she shares it by offering free home-buying workshops every month.
"Housing has a trickle-down affect to so many other things. That causes violence, that causes health issues when you don't have a home to sleep in at night," says Ocana.
Ocana holds her many roles while also raising three young children.
