Seven people have been displaced after a house fire in Stamford Sunday morning.

The fire broke out in a third-floor bedroom on Hackett Circle South just after 9:30 a.m.

All the residents made it out safely before fire crews got there.

There was heavy fire and smoke damage on the third floor, and water damage on the first and second floors.

The Red Cross is said to be helping the displaced residents.
