The father of a child killed in the Sandy Hook massacre appears to be the third recent suicide linked to the mass shooting.

An autopsy is scheduled for today following the death of Sandy Hook father Jeremy Richman.

Richman was found dead of an apparent suicide at his office at Edmond Town Hall Monday morning.

Richman was the father of Avielle Richman, one of 20 children gunned down in 2012.

Richman named his foundation after her, which is a group looking into preventing violence through a better understanding of the brain.

Richman's foundation issued a statement saying his death shows how important it is for people to seek help for themselves and their loved ones.
