It was a close call for a family in Greenburgh after a fast-moving fire.

Officials say flames engulfed two vehicles and damaged a home on Hartford Lane Tuesday night.

A neighbor tells News 12 the family living there managed to escape unharmed through the back of the home. "When I came out, the whole car was engulfed in flames and it was spreading into the house. Thank God for the fireman because they put out the fire pretty quickly," says neighbor Joe Dellolio.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
