WWII-era Poland in New Jersey? Hollywood setting up shop in Paterson
Crews Thursday began turning downtown Paterson, near city hall, into Nazi-era Warsaw, Poland.
It's all for an Amazon project starring Al Pacino called "The Hunt."
Mayor Andre Sayegh has been courting movie and TV companies, saying the shoot will cause some road closures and detours.
But in the end, he says it's a great thing for Paterson.
"Your hardware stores will benefit, your restaurants will benefit,” says Mayor Sayegh. “Bodegas and other grocery stores.  There is a multiplier effect to this endeavor."

There are also rumors Steven Spielberg is eyeing the city for an upcoming project.
