Residents headed out to beaches and parades all across the Hudson Valley for Memorial Day.

Residents headed out to beaches and parades all across the Hudson Valley for Memorial Day.
Tarrytown, Harrison, White Plains and New Castle all held Memorial Day events.
Meanwhile, Glen Island in New Rochelle opened over the weekend in time for the holiday. To enter the beach, you must have a county park pass or proof of county residency with a valid New York state driver's license.
Glen Island Beach is open today and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
