Officials in Seaside Heights have once again rejected a liquor license for the nightclub Karma, featured prominently on the show "Jersey Shore."

The vote by the council was a formality since a prior complaint to the state Division of Alcohol Beverage Control remains pending.
The club filed for bankruptcy back in February after it was shut down last spring following arrests over underage drinking.
Karma was a regular nightclub for cast members of the "Jersey Shore" reality TV show.
