Police are cracking down on a Yonkers roadway that neighbors say is notorious for drag racing.
Drivers traveling down a stretch along Central Park Avenue say cars also speed and that people drive vehicles with excessive noise.
Scott Schalff who works at San Marko Formals and Fine Men's Wear on Central Park Avenue says speeding becomes a bigger problem later in the day.
"It's not safe," Schalff said. "People shouldn't be going over the speed limit."
Police say they issued 70 tickets for traffic violations around the area over the week.
They say they'll continue monitoring the roads to make sure the community stays safe.
