There are 46 affordable housing apartments up for grabs in Bedford Park.
The “Bedford Green House" at 2865 Creston Ave. has been in development for years. It’s set to open in December.
When it’s complete, the 118-unit building will provide a home to low-income, formerly homeless New Yorkers and those struggling with mental illness.
The building will feature a greenhouse on the rooftop, vines on the façade and window boxes ready for plant life.
Bedford Green House was developed by Project Renewal – a nonprofit that helps homeless and low-income families find affordable and supportive housing to "renew" their lives with access to social services.
There are 46 of the 118 units still available through New York City Housing Connect. Most are studio apartments going for $883.
