Passengers of a greyhound bus were forced to evacuate at a rest stop off on I-95 after the vehicle started smoking.
The incident happened on a northbound bus traveling from New York to Boston near Exit 22 around 4:30 a.m.
A passenger tells News 12 he got up to go to the bathroom when he was suddenly hit by a cloud of smoke.
The passenger says he ran to the front of the bus and told the driver, and the bus was re-routed to a rest stop just a mile away.
Passengers were evacuated from the bus, and the fire department arrived on the scene shortly after.
Officials say the smoke condition may be related to an electrical issue.
State police say the bus was towed away shortly after the incident and a new bus arrived to pick the passengers up about two-hours later.
