There's plenty to do in parks around our borough, and Canarsie Park is no different.

The week four winner of News 12's Road Trip offers wide open space and plenty of options for physical activity.

The park has basketball courts, a baseball diamond and trails. One unique feature of the space is its skate park.

“Not a lot of places have skate parks, not a lot of places have areas where they allow people to skate so the fact that we can get one whole skate park to ourselves is kind of an appreciative thing," says parkgoer Korey Weekes, of Flatbush.

Parkgoers say it is the perfect spot to learn and perfect new tricks.
