Authorities: Man left 3-year-old son in hot car for hours while he ate lunch

Authorities say a man from Atlantic City has been arrested after allegedly leaving his 3-year-old son unattended in a hot car for three hours while eating lunch.

Authorities say a man from Atlantic City has been arrested after allegedly leaving his 3-year-old son unattended in a hot car for three hours while eating lunch.
The incident happened Saturday in Egg Harbor Township.
According to authorities, Brandon Morgan, 32, was inside a Chickie's and Pete's eating lunch while his child was in the car.
Before police arrived, bystanders were able to help get the child out of the car.
Authorities say the child was in good health and released to his mother.
Morgan was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
