A man was killed when he lost control of a motorcycle in Yonkers Saturday night.

Police say the accident occurred at around 7 p.m. near Wakefield Avenue on the Bronx River Parkway.

The crash brought traffic to a standstill.

They say the victim was in his 40s.

Police have not released the name of the victim.
