Police in Toms River say the incidents involving two suspected child luring attempts have been fully investigated, and there was no intent to lure or cause any harm to children.
Officials talked with the person of interest, as well as his family, and have determined there was no criminal intent.
Police say regardless of the outcome, all of the children acted exactly as they should have when approached by a stranger -- and are to be commended for their actions.
In both cases, children notified their parents, who then reported the incidents to police.
AP wire services helped contribute to this report.
