According to authorities, the 28-year-old visitor jumped Saturday around 4:30 p.m.

The Skywalk opened in 2007, and is a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway that juts over the canyon overlooking the Colorado River.

The vertical drop is between 500 feet and 800 feet.
