Police in Middle Township say what’s believed to be a bag of heroin was found in a child's bag of Halloween candy at a local Trunk-or-Treat event.

Police in Middle Township say what’s believed to be a bag of heroin was found in a child's bag of Halloween candy at a local Trunk-or-Treat event.
The incident happened Friday night at Family Success Center at 1046 NJ-47 in Rio Grande.
According to police, the child's parent was checking the candy when they found the bag.
Police are urging all parents to thoroughly check their kids' candy this week.
Police say this is the only reported incident.
