Singers John Legend and Kelly Clarkson are updating the Christmas classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside," after questions last year over how the song ignored the importance of consent in a relationship.
Legend teamed up with Natasha Rothwell, a writer on HBO's "Insecure,” to redo the lyrics – for a more sensitive narrative.
Legend says he reworked some of the lyrics, and will release the updated version on his holiday album, "A Legendary Christmas."
The album will be released Nov. 8.
