Storms producing high winds expected in the Hudson Valley overnight
Thunderstorms are expected to hit the Hudson Valley through early Friday morning, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Light rain is expected at times, but a storm could bring some heavy rain before the sun rises Friday.
The system is expected to bring winds of up to 30 mph or more. A wind advisory is in effect in southern Westchester County through 6 a.m. Friday.
By Friday morning, the rain will pass, but the winds should remain. Temperatures will be cool, with highs in the low- to mid-50s.
