The rain didn't stop trick or treaters from getting their candy on Thursday.
Hundreds of kids descended on Fordham Road to collect candy on Halloween. News 12 spoke with several parents who say they had umbrellas in hand in preparation for any showers.
Parents say the candy is going fast, and that they think people are trying to beat the rain.
High winds are expected, so if a child's costume has a hat or anything that can blow off, the best idea is to leave it at home.
